Mmmm....Single Grain Rice Cereal

Asher took his first crack at solid foods recently. It was a bit of a mess, but he did well and seemed to really like both the cereal and the mess.

Snow Day

It has been called "Snowpacalypse" and "Snowmageddon," but we just called it a snow storm. The world didn't end and there was no need to stock up on canned food or military rations. However, we did have the opportunity to build Asher's first snowman.

Playtime

Sorry for the lack of posting lately. Things have gotten pretty hectic around here. Cori is busy teaching, tutoring, and researching and writing chapters for her thesis proposal and Jimmy is finally back on campus for the spring semester. While mom and dad have been getting back into the swing of things since the New Year began, Asher has been busy learning all kinds of fun new things to do. He's a big fan of the "exer-saucer" and has discovered he's capable of moving himself, making all kinds of different--and often shrill--noises. Here is a short video of one of Asher's first times really using his hands. We'll post some more in the coming days!
